Leadership Coaching
One-on-one coaching for executives, owners, and emerging leaders working to communicate more clearly, navigate challenges, and build stronger teams around them.
Leadership coaching for executives and business owners is about more than becoming a better communicator or a more confident decision-maker, though those are real outcomes. It is about building the self-awareness and intentional practices that let you lead with clarity rather than reaction, and develop others rather than doing everything yourself. Clients have described gaining practical tools they could use immediately, clarity that translated to stronger decisions, and the ability to navigate difficult conversations without carrying the weight of them home.
Jen Brown is an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) with 23 years of real-world executive leadership experience behind the credentials. She has coached leaders through career transitions, business ownership challenges, and the specific pressures that come with leading people through change. Coaching draws on assessment instruments including Maxwell DISC and Positive Intelligence selectively, based on what is genuinely useful for each client. The tools serve the work; they are not the product.
Coaching is available in English and Spanish. Sessions are structured around your schedule and the specific challenges you are navigating. The engagement begins with a conversation about your situation and what you are trying to accomplish. Jen will be direct about whether coaching is the right fit and what a realistic engagement would involve.
Common questions
What does a leadership coaching engagement look like?
Engagements are tailored to each client's situation and goals. Sessions are typically held on a regular cadence over a defined period, with accountability and support between sessions. The starting point is always a real conversation about what you are navigating and what you are trying to accomplish. Jen will be clear about what the engagement would involve and what is realistic to expect before you commit to anything.
Do you coach in Spanish?
Yes. Jen has more than 20 years of experience leading cross-cultural teams and coaches in both English and Spanish. If Spanish is your preferred working language, or if you are working through a bilingual leadership context, mention that when you reach out.
How is leadership coaching different from therapy or consulting?
Leadership coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented. It is not therapy and does not involve clinical diagnosis or mental health treatment. It is also different from consulting, where an expert diagnoses and prescribes. Coaching works by helping you develop your own clarity, decisions, and capacity. Jen's experience as both a practitioner and a former executive means she brings real-world context without substituting her judgment for yours.
